Welcome to the Shelton Young Republicans section of this site.
The Young Republicans is a grassroots organization consisting of people in the Republican Party ages of 18-40. We work side by side with Shelton's leaders of today, as we are the leaders of tomorrow.
Since 1991, the Lauretti administration has work hard and focused on improving the quality of life in Shelton. Whether it's lower taxes, increasing economic development to bring in more revenue, or making sure our kids have a great school system to attend. Also, there have been great changes made to our city’s downtown, which now is home to many shops, businesses and, most importantly, new residents.
The Shelton Young Republicans look forward to working hard to guarantee Mayor Lauretti gets reelected so our city can continue to move forward and continue to shine as the “Jewel of the Naugatuck Valley” and be admired throughout the state.
